Flying – The War Wyvern is a Flyer. It is capable of flying over the heads of foes on the ground. It can be attacked by Heroes as they have the skill. If grounded it is a far easier foe to face.
Large – The War Wyvern is counted as a Large opponent which affects how it moves and acts.
Bite – This creature has a powerful Bite Attack which targets Heroes.
Poison Stinger – The tail of this creature has a barb which stings and Poisons enemies. This has a large effect on the morale of the Heroes but also their abilities.
This cannot be used in the same turn as a Bite attack.
Special Placement – The War Wyvern always appears on Square 5. If Square 5 is filled he pushes all in that square forward one. It acts as a Large Monster.
War Wyvern Play Style
The War Wyvern is a great flyer, not skillful but soaring on massive wings, it flies high over the top of those below it. Make the most of your flight and avoid being grounded if you can.
Use your Poison Stinger as often as you can but the bite is also effective and can turn the tide in your favour.
War Wyvern Background
The War Wyvern was by the Orc trainers high in the mountains and only if sorely tested will the command be given to release one.
These are mountain hunters normally and calling one down to the Cities of man is a great risk. However, the Ogre King is nothing if not resourceful.
This creature was raised from it’s egg and taught to follow the commands of the prey to which is has the scent of.
A War Wyvern is calmer of nature and smarter than a normal wyvern due to how it has been raised. It can be controlled by people using unknown banners from afar to guide it.
This creature is a terror of the skies and all on the battlements fear it. It can reach you no matter where you are!
